- Perform Testing & Inspection – Pulled Code P308900 Fuel Pump Electronics Signal Wire Electronic Malfunction – Perform Testing & Inspection – Found Fuses Blown & Missing / Improper Location In Left Side Fuse Panel – Installed Correct Fuses In Locations & Re Test – Code Remains – Check For Fuel At HPFP, None Present – Remove Rear Seat For Access & Test Components – No Power To In Tank Pump, Test Module, Ground, 12v, & Signal All Ok, No Signal Out To Pump – Replaced Fuel Pump Control Module – Fuel System Functions Returned – Operating Normally, No Codes Present, Fuel At HPFP Vehicle Still Does Not Start – Perform Further Diagnostic, Check Compression, Cyl 1,2,3,4,6 270/280PSI, Cyl#5 Low At 150PSI – Test For Spark, No Spark Present – Inspect Ignition Wiring, Found Blown 20A Fuse Under Hood – Replace Fuse, Vehicle Tries To Fire But Will Not Run – Noted Heavy Fuel Scent In Oil – Change Oil To Remove Fuel Contamination – Vehicle Starts & Runs – Code Present For Camshaft Circuit – Inspect Cam Sensor, Found Broken Wires At Connector – Splice In New Connector & Re Attach – Vehicle Starts & Runs At This Time ***NOTE Leaks Present – Oil & Coolant – Large Pool Of Fluid Under Plenum ****NOTE Multiple Broken Connector Clips At Coils & Fuel Pump – Connectors Seated In But Do Not "CLIP" And Secure ****NOTE Code Remaining In System For Intake Manifold Tuning Valve
